Dr Jörg Manske studied physics with a secondary subject in chemistry at the University of Osnabrück. Numerous guest stays at renowned international research institutes took him to France and the Netherlands, among other places.

Dr Manske completed his training as a patent attorney at a patent and law firm in Arnsberg, at the German Patent and Trademark Office and at the Federal Patent Court. In 2005, Dr Manske was admitted as a patent attorney. Prior to this, he worked as a management consultant for leading international telecommunications companies.

His legal practice focuses on national and international patent law and design law. His technical areas of expertise include automotive engineering, automation technology, lighting technology, optics and computer-implemented inventions.

Dr Manske has been a partner at the firm since 2025. Prior to that, he was a long-standing partner at the firm in Arnsberg.

In addition to his native language, German, Dr Manske is also fluent in English.
